"Is there anything i need to supply for you"
Unless we have specified in the email, we normally only need tables and chairs from you for the face painting and a power outlet for the speaker. Everything else is supplied by your
entertainer.
"I'm going to book other entertainment on the day ie: jumping castle, will the entertainer still provide the full service"
Jumping castles are great fun! If you have hired one get the best out of both the jumping castle and your entertainer. Have the jumping castle up before the entertainer arrives, then turn it off when the entertainer begins performing, then turn it back on again for party-food time, right until the end of the party. This will make the jumping castle seem continuously exciting! This will keep the children from being distracted from your entertainer (after all,you have paid good money to see them do a good show) , and also stop the party from “splitting”. Splitting is the worst thing to have happen at a party. It is where the children have so much to do that they “split off” into little groups and the party atmosphere disappears. Keep them having fun together makes for the best photos too. If you would like the jumping castle going for the whole party, we would recommend just hiring the entertainer to provide face painting and a roaming balloon twister.
"I really want a surprise entrance- is that something you can do"
Absolutely, We can have it arranged the entertainer makes a beautiful grand entrance. On the day we will have some equipment we will need to bring in, so if we can arrange a time and place to meet with you so we can hand the equipment over?
"My child really wants to play piñata/ pass the parcel- can we fit this into the party"
Yes we can- you will need to supply these items. We normally suggest we play this game after the face painting so the kids don't miss out of our amazing high energetic games.
"I am thinking of having a party in the park- how will this work"
There a couple of things to consider booking an event in the park.
- how big is the park, how will you let the entertainer know where you are set up
- Is there a play ground at the park? From previous experience I have found games don't work as well in a park as kids will tend to be more interested playing on the playground. I would suggest to book a face painting and balloon package only.
- Rain! if the weather looks unpleasant please contact the office immediately so we can notify the entertainer about the change of plans.
-Make sure the entertainer is set up close to where your sitting. Some times other kids will come in and join into the party and some of the party guests might miss out on a balloon or face paint when this happens.
When you book a park party we supply our own speaker for the location and bring everything but the tables and chairs.
" I don't want to have a food break as I am doing this before/after the party"
This is absolutely fine, I would still suggest to bring some drinks and snacks out during the face painting time as its a good time for the kids and relax and to have some 1 on 1 time with their favorite character.
" I would like to change the character.... is this okay?"
We can defiantly look into the character change for you. Bewitching Entertainment needs at least 7 days notice for any changes. Some times we can do last minuet changes but please always check with us 24 hours before the event.
